No babies yet...

We're still waiting. Annie has been in the hospital on bed rest for 10 days! Tomorrow she will have another ultrasound to look at the babies' fluid. Last week one baby only had adequate fluid, so this week if it is any worse they will deliver the babies. If everything is still OK in there they will wait until Monday to do an amniocentesis to check on the development of the babies lungs. If they are developed enough to deliver they will take them on Monday. So, basically we are still waiting!

I've started the babies' quilts! I have the middle block done for each one. I'm using some of the Sanctuary line by Moda. I appliqued their names while sitting at the hospital with Annie.

This is the last Home Sweet Home block I have finished. I have another one almost done and one about half way done. The next thing to do is the border applique and piece it all together.

This is a little stitchery I made for the retreat a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find a frame to put it in so it will have to wait for next year.

This is a quilt Annie started a couple of years ago. She told me it was too hard and wanted me to finish it. So, I finished it! All I had to do was put the blocks together. This quilt is for someone special. I'll tell you who it is after we give it to her.

Edited to add: We gave this quilt to my Mom when she came to help with the babies. She loved it!

The next picture is a Christmas quilt called Ric-Rac Christmas Trees. I added a special touch to the binding.

  10. How can you put so many gorgeous things in one post?!! LOVE the name quilts for the babies - I especially like the font on the lettering. Just adorable! And the house is great - I've only got one finished and one more pasted up. I am thinking I might just do 4 and make a smaller wallhanging!

I also love the stitchery - I mean how true is that?!
