OK, where has March gone? I've been so busy working on this and that! First, I want to show you the shovel block of Primitive Garden. I picked it up one day and discovered I love wool applique. Back in January I told you how much I disliked it but now I've changed my mind!

I have finally succeeded in getting my curtains made for the kitchen and breakfast area of the great room. It only took nine years! This picture is the valance over the sink. I'm repainting the walls in here back to a tan and the curtains will show up much better on that color. The white spots are from drilling into the wall before we got it right and there is one knob missing. I have to go back to Hobby Lobby and get one.

The Tootie Babies...this is one of the things we do at Nana's house. Sitting in the trays that hold our toys. I think our booties are getting too big for the smaller tray but it's fun to squeeze into anyway!

I've got some more things to show you tomorrow.

  1. Hello there.....I'm so glad you came over to visit me. I tried to email you, but..it kept getting kicked back undeliverable....ANYWAY....your new curtains...well, we have good taste because your red floral fabric is what my drapes are from too. I absolutley LOVE this fabric. My curtains in my living room would work in every room in my
house. I have had them for several-several years and have not EVEN begun to grow tired of them!!

  4. Found your blog tonight and just love the window treatment. Is there a pattern for it? I need a change in my dining room. I live in Keller, TX and went to the Arlington show yesterday also. Lots of beautiful quilting...
