OK, I know what you Northerners are thinking! I'm excited to see it! Good thing it will only last a day or two though because I need to go to the quilt shop for some 30's repros for a swap (of blocks, I still have to make). My little group is swaping 6" churn dash blocks. I have to do 50! But wait there is more...I have to do my daughter's 50 too! Talk about waiting until the last minute!
I'll leave you with these beautiful pictures I took from my back door.
We got way more than that up here in Aubrey! It's still a pitiful amount and I'm reluctant to post the pictures I've taken.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. BTW, I don't collect aprons, but a good friend of mine does. For some reason I always feel emotional when I think of aprons. I think it's the close connection with my Grandmother. I don't wear aprons, though I have few of my Grandmother's. My mom still wears an apron when she cooks.
Thanks for visiting my blog - I have just read all of yours. You do some lovely work. I would like to try applique, but currently I am working on hexagons, so 1 hand project is enough for me. Maybe after I finish. But then I wanted to learn how to knit socks after that... So much to do! Glad your son arrived home safely from Iraq.
ReplyDeleteI just stopped by your blog and wondered where in Texas you are at. I am in Amarillo. I looked all thru your blog and you have made some pretty quilts.
