My first Work In Progress Wednesday!
This is Vintage Valentine. I did the first one last week and then took a break and cut all the pieces for the WHOLE quilt from freezer paper. I just started the second block a couple of days ago.
I've been busy cleaning my house! We're having company for Thanksgiving. My daughter's in-laws and sister-in-law are coming over with my daughter and her husband. My son is still in NC and won't be home until early January. I've gotten some cooking done today. I made a pecan pie, sweet potato casserole, a cheese ball and the dressing.
I'm wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving! Don't eat too much!

Happy WIP Wednesday! Beautiful blocks! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHi, KJ. I just found your blog and had to tell you how lovely your house is. What a great sewing room (so neat!).
ReplyDeleteBut most of all I love the last sentence of your profile--telling us your machine is a Bernina 160! Isn't it funny how much we love our machines? Especially us Bernina gals. I had an 1130 I adored and finally let it go to a good home when I realized I use my 170 more. (I'd love to have a 630, but that will have to wait.)
Enjoy your Thanksgiving. I'll be back to see you!
Beautiful blocks - I love that quilt. Need to consider pulling mine out and working on it. You might just inspire me to do it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love freezer paper.
The very 1st quilting class I ever took was freezer paper applique', & I've used it ever since!
