Block three of Primitive Garden. If you see the pattern you will soon realize things are a little off. Even after all these years I still can't get it right...tracing onto fusible applique! Oh, well.
I have all nine blocks complete--- just need to get it together and do the borders--(that's still ALOT of work). But I think this was my favorite block of all. I did the cotton version. No one is going to notice if it's "off" a little... Just say you are making it your own...Love it..
I like your Birds on a Wire block. Looks fine to me. I can't say you did anything wrong, as much as took "creative license".
