Birds on a Wire

Block three of Primitive Garden. If you see the pattern you will soon realize things are a little off. Even after all these years I still can't get it right...tracing onto fusible applique! Oh, well.

  1. I like your Birds on a Wire block. Looks fine to me. I can't say you did anything wrong, as much as took "creative license".

Can't wait to see this quilt when it is finished. It is going to be beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Looks fine by me. Everyone needs to adapt a pattern anyway to make it their own. Hope all is well with you and the tootie babies.

  5. I have the pattern and yours looks every bit as good to me. You can't expect birds and flowers to stay frozen in one place; they are alive.

  6. I'm doing this quilt also.
Your block looks great, the birds can sit any way they want to!

  8. I have all nine blocks complete--- just need to get it together and do the borders--(that's still ALOT of work). But I think this was my favorite block of all. I did the cotton version. No one is going to notice if it's "off" a little... Just say you are making it your own...Love it..
