Day 2: The flying geese are coming together. The round white dots are numbered, keeping things organized.
Day 3: The blocks are coming together!
Day 4: I don't really want to talk about what happened today. LOL! Let's just say I had a couple of words with the geese and neither of us were happy campers...
Day 5: Ta Da!
Hopefully tomorrow I will get some time to machine quilt this top and get the binding and label on so I can display it on my table. I'm thinking of calling it Flying South For The Winter, what do you think?
I think that's a great name. I loved seeing your progress. What a great fall quilt! Do you know how you're going to quilt it?
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful quilt, love the fall colours. Hugs from France
ReplyDeleteGreat name. It is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt. Looks like your geese decided to straighten up and fly right.
ReplyDeleteLove the name, great fall quilt.
It's a perfect name for a perfect Fall quilt!!

So very fall looking and so well done!
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo gorgeous! I never got around to making one with the flying geese. I made my quilts mainly in the 1990s. I had a car accident in 1998 and subsequent hand surgeries, which is why I rarely quilt now. But oh, I am so admiring of that quilt and your skills!

I love your project! The fall colors are so wonderful! Part of me wishes that I had picked a kit not the GLACE, because I bet everyone will be doing that one. But.....I have another one next month. Thank you for the comment on my geese!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE, LOVE your Schnibbles! It's fun seeing all the different fabric choices and I can't wait until tomorrow to see them all at once!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. It looks like you and the geese finally came to terms :-)
ReplyDeleteNot only do you raise great sons, but you make great quilts! Just beautiful, like a walk through a woods in the Fall, aaahhhhh!
