Some answers for Kathie.

Thanks for your comment! I actually have stepped on my rug (by accident, LOL!) and it is very soft. I didn't use a pattern for my shower curtain. I just sewed two lengths together and hemmed them. This was a shower curtain in my house in Florida many years ago. When we moved to Texas I decided I wanted to add the bluebonnets. So, I just cut across the shower curtain where I wanted to insert the pieced and quilted panel. Then I serged the top and bottom of the panel to the curtain pieces. Next I re-hemmed all the edges and hung it up on clip rings. Voila! A quilted shower curtain!

Kathie, you didn't have a reply address. I think you can change that by going into your settings. I'd love to come to your blog and visit. Greenmare and Suzanne thanks for your comments too! I really enjoy getting feedback from visitors.

A little tip from me to you...Connecting Threads is having a 40% off sale on ALL their books. Check it out! There are some really good deals.

  2. Love the rug - I bought everything to make one a couple of years ago and it all just sits. LOL

I have Vintage Valentine to work on and it just sits, as well. Yours are beautiful.
