Yesterday I went with Joanna and Brian to their doctor's appointment. Annie had an ultrasound and we got pictures! The babies were moving a lot and we saw their little arms and legs, their big heads and little bodies! How exciting! Annie says the babies are the size of kiwis and they are inside sacks as big as small grapefruits. I had to laugh because she doesn't have enough room in there for all that! The doctor said she was around 11 weeks and one baby is 3 days bigger than the other!
I'll never forget that first ultrasound when I found out I was expecting twins. This brings back memories. Congrats to the lucky parents and their families!

ReplyDeleteNow I get to see what my twin brother and I looked like when we were growing together. All our Mom knew is that she was having more than one baby, it was 50 years ago.
Great new pictures--of the babies AND you!
