* Had a girl's night out with my quilting friends!
* Did a little stitching. (Can't take pins to the babies house!)
* Worked on a UFO! (Ripping out that ^$%^ Seminole border.)
* Did a little applique. (BOM - Night Before Christmas)
* Worked on a UFO! (Sizing Birds of a Feather blocks.)
* Started something new!
Jelly Bellies, a Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. pattern (of course!) and Mistletoe Manor, a Moda fat quarter bundle by Three Sisters.
The cream colored fat quarters are missing!
Whoa! Look at this! It didn't really take that long to cut out.
Let's start on the border first! Why not? I needed some mindless piecing...
La te da!
OK, well, I'd better get busy because there are 200 of these large squares that need triangles on all four corners!
That would be 800 corners (for the mathematically impaired, LOL!).
Umm, you didn't think I would get them all right, did you?
Umm, you didn't think I would get them all right, did you?
Oh, great. Now I have to iron 800 corners! Stay tuned to see them up on the display wall...
* One more thing...I worked on a UFO! (What Comes Around Goes Around.)
Uh, oh. Upside down. This is a pattern from Americana Quilts by Sandy Bonsib called What Comes Around Goes Around. I'm thinking that is a very good name for this picture. Anyway, this is a UFO from several years ago. All it needed was borders! So, I started putting them on. Sixteen borders! Yikes, no wonder it's a UFO! I'll be through with it today. Backing and binding too. It'll go in the to be quilted pile.

So, that's my week.
Don't forget we looked at furniture and went out to lunch!
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been busy! Sometimes mindless sewing is fun.
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like a pretty good week to me, and to end it with sewing on a new project, almost perfect.
ReplyDeleteOOOOh I love that quilt. I can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteYou have been one busy lady! Glad to see that someone else besides me... is familiar with that little tool known as a seam ripper.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great quilt. I have to know, do you just sew the little corners on or do you draw a line? 800 lines-eeekkk!
ReplyDeleteI love the red/white/blue. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Wonderful fun!!! Love the new project(s)
ReplyDeleteThat is a VERY impressive week *s*
