Heritage Medallion

This little quilt is actually done!!! Machine pieced and machine quilted.

From a pattern by Lori Smith called Fit To Frame. Another pink and brown to add to my collection on the wall in the upstairs hallway. I'm on my way to filling the entire wall with little quilts.

That is a very old pie safe my Mom gave me for Christmas one year. It is filled with quilts that my grandmothers made and some of my early quilts.

  4. Looks good, Judy. The pie safe is a neat way to display the quilts too. Someday maybe I can see them in person. We, hubby and I, still keep talking about another trip to Texas.

Got the word yesterday - another grandbaby on the way, due to arrive in November! The lil darlin will be #6.

  5. Don't you just love Lori Smith's patterns? And I have a pie safe that is very similar, but mine is filled with tea cups :-) You did a beautiful job on the quilt. I love the colors.

  6. What a pretty quilt! I love how you are displaying your small quilts. I also love the pie safe filled with old quilts - how special to have so many quilts from your grandmothers.
