Just a little peek at what's to come! The first block of All Around The Town by Sue Garman. I decided to use fusible applique and buttonhole stitch on this block of the month from Houston St. Mercantile in Granbury, TX. I still need to pull the threads to the back and tie them off.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping over at my blog. I'm so glad you did, because I linked back to yours...such great pictures of your blocks and quilts. I love all your minis on a previous post. Minis are one of my favorites.
Thanks again,
~Karen~
Your little house is just precious. Do you do hand buttonhole stitch? Do you use a frame? My buttonhole (by hand)is still so wobbly and inconsistent - in fact I have only just started to do fusible applique but am enjoying how it looks. (I'm an old-time piecer, most of the time)

Cute little house!!
ReplyDeleteI have the All Around Town pattern and have never started on it. I had even forgotten about it. I need to dig it out as I like it very much. I like the idea of doing it with fusible. I don't think I would get it done any other way.
