To Grandmother's House We Go

This is a panel I've completed from a Crabapple Hill design called To Grandmother's House We Go. I used DMC 4140 which is a varigated brown to a very light pink. The background fabric is a cream with light brown dots. This is worked in a backstitch. I've almost finished the second of three panels.
I've really started to enjoy stitching. When I am babysitting for the Tootie Babies I work on this while they play. It's amazing how much I can accomplish!

  1. I like the Crabapple Hill patterns too. I am currently working on Lynette Anderson's Noah's Ark though, and am enjoying it too.

  2. OH, I have been wanting to make this quilt too. I have got to finish up some other projects first, but it is definitely on my list of to do. Yours is the first I have seen done in shades of brown and is very lovely.

  3. That is so lovely. I will be anxious to see it when you get it framed (assuming that is the plan). Will you use glass?

    So nice!
